Michael Shaw - Owner / General Manager mshaw@thecove.ca Michael Shaw founded The Cove in 1991. An avid lifetime boater and blue water sailor, Michael's passion for this industry is the driving force behind The Cove's commitment to customer service. His vision and determination ensures the company's success and continued growth even in these ecomonically challenging times.
David Shaw - Owner / Sales Manager dshaw@thecove.ca After completing the automotive marketing program at Georgian College, David joined The Cove team in 1995. As an Owner, David's commitment to excellence in customer care has supported The Cove's substantial growth for over 16 years. His hands-on approach ensures that he is always a step ahead in this growing industry.
Tracey Fitchett - Operations tfitchett@thecove.ca Tracey has been with The Cove since 2001. Her attention to detail and product knowledge ensures that our customers are well looked after. Aside from spending time with her grandchildren, Tracey is an avid Spyder and ATV rider as well as a recreational snowmobiler.
Steve Tait - Sales stait@thecove.ca Steve is our enthusiastic power sports and sportboat expert. His in-depth knowledge of all of our products ensures that our customers receive the best information prior to their purchase and ongoing support after the sale. Steve is also involved in committees in our area that help to improve and expand our trail systems for both snowmobilies and ATVs.
Wyatt Gray - Sales wgray@thecove.ca Wyatt has been with The Cove since the summer of 2007. Wyatt enjoys ATVing, Sea-Dooing but his real passion is snowmobiling. With his extensive knowledge of the power sports industry he makes a great addition to our team.
Wendy Jacklin- Parts and Accessories parts@thecove.ca Wendy is the key component to our Parts Department. Her organizational skills are second to none which ensures customer satisfaction on all levels. Wendy enjoys snowmobiling, ATV's, gardening,all other outdoor activities especially working with large rocks.
Stephanie Ward - Customer and Service Representative sward@thecove.ca Stephanie has been with The Cove since last spring. Her bright smile and cheery personality makes her a pleasure to work with. Besides spending time on the water, she enjoys spending quality time with her little man and is becoming an expert kinnect gamer.
Lauri Wachtler- Service Manager service@thecove.ca Lauri is the mastermind behind our Service Department. She comes to us with plenty of knowledge and experience in the marine service industry. In her spare time she enjoys gardening and volunteering within her community.
Terry Cadeau - Technician Terry joined the team in 1995. Terry is a Master Ski-Doo Technician/Certified Sea-Doo/Certified ATV/Master Stihl/Factory Trained Evinrude & Mercruiser Technician.Terry is also a licensed Marine and Small Engine Mechanic. As an avid family man, Terry enjoys spending time with his grandaughter. Motorcycle, boat and Ski-doo excursions are ways in which Terry gets to relax and enjoy downtime.
Tim Ward - Technician Tim has been with The Cove since 2004. Tim is Certified Seadoo/Certified ATV/Certified Ski-Doo/Master Stihl Technician. Mercury and Mercruiser Factory trained technician. Yamaha Factory Technician. Tim is also a licensed Class A Mechanic. Tim is an avid ATV enthusiast and enjoys spending his free time with his family.
Dave Murchinson- Technician Dave has a vast knowledge of all small engines. He enjoys his downtime cruising the roads on his motorcycles or working on his car.
Brad Fitchett - Apprentice Technician-Power Sports Brad began at The Cove in 2007 and is learning quickly the in and outs of being an apprentice technician. He is continuing to work on his marine certification as well. He enjoys ATVs, Sea-Doo's and snowmobiling.
Duanne Russell-Apprentice Technician Duanne joined our team in late summer but has been working in the marine industry for about ten years. He is very methodical in his work ethics and is very thorough. In his off time he enjoys riding motocycles and snowmobiles. Welcome to our team!
Mike Costa-Our 'Go To' Guy Mike started out this year in our rental department but his attention to detail made him the perfect candidate for our service department. With many years of experience in the marine industry he is a welcomed addition to The Cove. His good nature makes him a pleasure to have working here.
