Michael Shaw founded The Cove in 1991. As an avid lifetime boater and blue water sailor, Michael's passion for this industry is the driving force behind The Cove's commitment to customer service. His vision and determination ensures the company's success and continued growth even in these ecomonically challenging times.

After completing the automotive marketing program at Georgian College, David joined The Cove team in 1995. As an Owner, David's commitment to excellence in customer care has supported The Cove's substantial growth for over 20 years. His hands-on approach ensures that he is always a step ahead in this growing industry.

Ryan has been with the team since September 2013 and is now our General Manager. He started with us working in our yard helping deliver and pick up units but over the years he has proven to be a great team member. He has worked in every department at The Cove and successively ran our marina location for 3 years before taking on his new role as General manager.

Mike is our power sports manager. He brings over 12 years of experience in the power sports industry. Whether he's riding or working on his dirt bike or in the bush with his dog Kane, he's always enjoying the great outdoors. Coming from the mechanical side of the industry, his knowledge ensures that customers are well looked after.

Nick has been with us since the summer of 2021. He came to us already having three years of powersports selling experience under his belt. Nick worked another three years in powersports at The Cove before transitioning over to our Marine Sales Centre in 2024.

Austin is in his 8th year of marine sales and he loves every minute of it. His array of knowledge spanning many different styles of boats helps him better assist his clients, and get them into the right product, no matter what they may be looking for. Austin enjoys maintaining relationships with his clients long after the point of sale, ensuring satisfaction and smiles for years to come. We're happy to have him at The Cove.

Jeff has been with our team for a few years but brings with him almost 15 more years in the industry. We are excited to have his knowledge of the marine industry and graphic design experience added to our Team. Jeff manages the day to day events at our marina.

Bob Eeles is a long time employee of the Cove Marina and is a member of the Marine Sales Team. He has built a broad customer base over the years and been entrusted to assist them in finding that perfect boat to meet their needs on the waterways in Central Ontario. Bob is familiar with all our popular brands available at our marina and has a reputation of excellent customer service to ensure your complete satisfaction with your new or used boat purchased. He will help you in understanding the operation and functions of your new boat and will deliver it to your dock upon sale if necessary. This year Bob has taken on a new roll, working part time for The Cove from his home office but he is available by appointment any day of the week.

Wendy is our parts manager. She has been with the team for many years and knows our inventory inside and out. Wendy will get you on your way with the right part. Her organizational skills are invaluable to the parts department. Her knowledge of chainsaws, trimmers and blowers make her our Stihl specialist.

Tracey has been with The Cove for many years. Lately she is helping Wendy in the parts department. Tracey is ready to help you with all your parts and retail needs.

Andrea joined our team in 2013 to help accommodate our growing service department. Andrea and her husband both enjoy spending their time on the water boating. She has been in the marine industry for over a decade and looks forward to assisting you with your service requests.

Terry joined the team in 1995. Terry is a Master Ski-Doo Technician/Certified Sea-Doo/Certified ATV/Master Stihl/Factory Trained Evinrude & Mercruiser Technician.Terry is also a licensed Marine and Small Engine Mechanic. As an avid family man, Terry enjoys spending time with his grandchildren. Motorcycle, boat and Ski-Doo excursions are ways in which Terry gets to relax and enjoy downtime.

Chris has been with The Cove for many years. He is responsible for looking after our customer's units while they are here. He is the key to keeping everything on property organized. During the spring and fall, his main focus is on unloading and filling up our storage building. During his down time, Chris loves snowmobiling and hanging out on the water.

Tim has been with The Cove since 2004. Tim is Certified SeaDoo/Certified ATV/Certified Ski-Doo/Master Stihl Technician, Mercury and Mercruiser Factory trained technician and a Yamaha Factory Technician. Tim is also a licensed Class A Mechanic. Tim is an avid ATV enthusiast and enjoys spending his free time with his family.

Damon is our newest marine tech. He has been in the industry for several years and brings with him a wealth of knowledge in the marine and powersports industries. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Mike has now been with The Cove for several years now since he completed technician school at Canadore College in North Bay. He is known for being thorough with his work and is a great addition to our team. He is an avid snowmobiler and ATV enthusiast as well.

Duane joined our team in 2011 and has been working in the marine industry for over ten years. He is very methodical in his work ethic and is very thorough. In his off time he enjoys riding dirt bikes and snowmobiles.

Brad has been with our team for many years. Brad is responsible for making sure all of our new Seadoos, atvs and snowmobiles are built on time and perfect for our customers. In his off time, he enjoys ATVing, Snowmobiling, fishing and many other activities with his son.
